M3U Playlist Analyzer

Generate and inspect detailed visual statistical reports. Assess channel duplication rates, category group sizing, and EPG density.

Improve IPTV stability with playlist auditing

The analyzer describes the file you loaded; it does not contact streams. It counts entries per group, repeated case-insensitive names, exact repeated URLs, and missing names or URLs. The group chart highlights where most entries are concentrated so you can decide what to inspect rather than assuming that a large group is unwanted.

Evaluate Playlist Health Scores

The displayed score is a simple heuristic: it subtracts the larger of the duplicate-name or duplicate-URL count, plus empty-entry warnings, from the total before converting the result to a percentage. It does not test streams, EPG accuracy, player compatibility, or media quality. Use the underlying counts—not the score alone—to choose changes.

What each duplicate count means

Name duplicates use the trimmed, lowercased display name. URL duplicates require the exact same URL string. A repeated name can be an intentional backup source; a repeated URL can appear under different names or groups. The analyzer reports both so you can choose an appropriate cleanup rule.

What the report contains

The downloaded JSON records its generation time, channel and group totals, both duplicate counts, empty-entry warnings, the heuristic score, largest group, average entries per group, and a full group breakdown. It contains aggregate metadata but may still expose group names, so review it before sharing.
